Day 1: Transfer from the airport to your hotel .
The first evening you will be able to have dinner together in the main square

Day 2: Explore Marrakech
Fuel up with breakfast this morning. Biking in Marrakech is an exotic way to discover the highlights of the imperial city of Marrakech. In about 3 hours our biking guide takes you along the medieval city wall into the small streets of the souks to pass by the major historical monuments. If you are short in time, you can have a short visit inside (entrance fees are not included) …. Perhaps we can have dinner in ths famous square Jamaa El Fna (Local experience).

Day 3: Transfer to the mountains – start of your mountain bike tour
A beautiful drive to the High Atlas Mountains brings you to the pass Tizi-n-Tichka (2260m./7415ft.). Here we start our biking adventure with a nice descent to the Kasbah of Telouet.We bike alongside the river ‘Assif Ounilia’, this is the old caravan road from Fès to Tombouctou. The descent takes us to 1200m. to arrive in a desert palm oasis near the fortified village (Ksar) of Aït Benhaddou. After taking pictures and visiting this scenic village built on a hill slope, we go to our nice hotel in Ouarzazate city.

Day 4: Mountain biking: through the valley of the Drâa up to Tin Zoulin
Mountain biking: through the valley of the Drâa up to Tin Zoulin Today a transfer (ca. 1 hr.) takes us to the spectacular pass Tizi-n-Tinififft (1160m. / 5445 ft.). We enter the old and dry Anti Atlas Mountains with a lunar landscape of strange rock formations. Our cycling starts with a short descent on a paved road with magnificent views. Then we turn onto a dirt road, in Morocco they call them ‘pistes’. After crossing a small river we take a smooth ‘piste’ around the base of Jebel Kissane, passing through ‘palmeries’ and isolated Berber villages.Small tracks and trails will take us through the valley of the Drâa to the village of Tin-Zoulin.

Day 5: Mountain biking: valley of the Drâa to the sand dunes of the Sahara
Today biking is really beautiful in the green valley with its date palms. Exploring the ‘palmeries’ leads to a nice ‘piste’ nestled below the dramatic, near vertical brown valley walls.We pass by the village of Benizouli before we end up in the small village of Imi-n-Ouassif. Here we are close to the Shara desert and we will bring a visit to the sand dunes of Tinfou.

Day 6: Mountain biking: through the Anti Atlas to Nekob
Mountain biking: through the Anti Atlas to Nekob Over the pass Tizi-n-Drâa we have a beautiful day of biking over the dirt road /‘piste’ to the remote and small city of Nekob. We are leaving the green Drâa valley and entering the dry mountains of the Jebel Saghro. In Nekob we stay in a traditional ‘auberge’.

Day 7: Mountain biking: through Jebel Saghro to Tagdilt over the Tazazert pass
Today is the big day: we will cross the mountains and conquer the isolated pass Tizi-n-Tazazert (2200m. / 7217 ft.). From Nekob a dirt road takes us to the volcanic gateway of Bab-n-Ali and from there it is a heavy climb to the pass. But the view on top, with the snowcapped High Atlas Mountains on the horizon, make the hard work worthwhile. A spectacular descent will bring you to the Berber village of Tagdilt. Here we spent our last night in ‘the middle of nowhere’.

Day 8: Transfer back to Marrakech – time to explore Marrakech
Transfer back to Marrakech–time to explore Marrakech In the morning our last transfer will take is through the High Atlas mountains back to Marrakech. Passing by the impressive landscapes will make you feel really good about the biking you have performed! In the evening enjoy the gathering on Jeema el Fna!
