We spent 4 days with her exploring the High Atlas Mountains , vibrant streets of Marrakesh, including the Medina, the stunning Madrasah Ben Youssef — Chama brought every place to life with her insights and stories. One of the highlights was a cooking class with a local family — such a special and authentic experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. I have always done all the planning for any family trip but for Morocco we choose to use a guide. I am so glad we did. Chama was a fantastic guide. She was outgoing and friendly which was especially nice with our 2 daughters (12 and 16). Her knowledge of her country allowed us to learn so much more than we expected. She was open about herself and her community which gave us a greater insight into life in Morocco, especially in the mountains. On our day with Chama, we met her at the hotel and drove out to Imlil. We hiked to a waterfall and then had lunch at the home of a local family in the village. It was one of our best meals!
