Overview

During this trek you will be able to explore and climb the Toubkal Mountain(4167m), which is the highest peak in North Africa.

Climbing to the peak is challenging, however it requires no climbing and mountaineering experiences. You will enjoy the breathtaking and amazing views from the summit.

You will be introduced to the local Berbers to learn about their culture and lifestyle. This trek includes mountain transfers, professional local guide and accommodation at the mountain’s hut and Berber guesthouses.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival at Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco, arrival in Marrakech airport, you will be met our private transport and transfer to your accommodation in the heart of ancient medina of Marrakech. Your adventure began at 6 pm with our expert leader for quick meeting. Tonight we will have an opportunity to know each other over an included delicious dinner in Local restaurant.

Day 2: Marrakech-Toudra Gorge

Today our path leads us out the city of Marrakech traveling to Toudra gorge through the highest pass of tizi n’Tichka 2260 m above sea level, passing by the Hollywood city of ouarzazat; known also as the gate of sahara desert it was used to be a crossing point for African traders on their way to Europe, admire the view of an impressive architecture of taourirt Kasbah, afterword our journey continue toward via skoura, rose valley ,dades valley to reach the foothills of high atlas mountain in Toudra gorge where you will spent night .

Day 3: Toudra gorge-Sahara Desert

Join your local guide for a gentle walk through the fertile palm groves, finding yourself surrounded by the high limestone cliffs of Toudra gorge. you will visit a members of berber women’s association for sharing with him mint tea and learning about their handmade using typical traditional techniques stemming from amazigh culture . After lunch with a berber family make our way for ride camels among the dunes of sahara to enjoy the sunset from unique perspective, spend a night under the stars in the camp

Day 4: Sahara Desert-Ait benhadou

Rise early morning to catch a beautiful view of sunrise in middle of red dunes of sahara desert, after the breakfast leave the desert behind on the way the unesco world heritage site of Ait ben hadou ;magnificent land mark in the atlas and great location for filming a several movies such us Gladiator, game of throne, lawrence of arabi

Day 5: Ait Benhadou- Marrakech

At 9 am, walking about 1 hour through the winding street for discovering the fortified village of Kssar ait ben haddou. Ladies! it’s time to meet with Berber women’s of the town for enjoy mint tea and Henna tattoos, we encourage you to interact ask questions; this such a great opportunity to understand more about the Berber women’s life in Morocco, Then make our way via the aw-inspiring tichka pass back to Marrakech Evening is yours to spent at leisure ,and farewell dinner together.
